1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Ruling Engine, you accept and agree to be bound by all terms, conditions, and notices contained in this document. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. Your continued use of Ruling Engine following the posting of revisions to these terms means you accept and agree to the changes.

2. Use License

Ruling Engine grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use this platform for the purpose of resolving competitive gaming disputes, managing tournament rulings, and accessing diagnostic frameworks and precedent tracking tools. This license is conditioned upon your compliance with all restrictions and prohibitions outlined in these terms.

You may not:

• Modify, copy, or create derivative works based on the platform's content, frameworks, or decision trees without written permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the underlying logic or algorithms of the diagnostic systems
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws and regulations
• Transmit any harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material
• Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the platform or its servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted areas or user accounts
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data without authorization
• Resell, redistribute, or commercialize access to the platform without explicit written consent

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, materials, designs, text, graphics, logos, images, decision frameworks, ruling precedents, diagnostic methodologies, and other intellectual property on Ruling Engine are the exclusive property of Ruling Engine or its content suppliers and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any original content you submit to the platform (such as case studies or community-submitted rulings). By submitting content, you grant Ruling Engine a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content for the purpose of improving the platform and serving other users.

The Ruling Engine name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Ruling Engine. You may not use these trademarks without prior written consent.

4. User-Submitted Content and Rulings

Ruling Engine provides tools for tournament organizers and judges to submit, track, and reference competitive rulings and dispute resolutions. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any content you submit.

By submitting rulings, case studies, or other content to the platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the right to submit such content
• The content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights
• The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• The content does not contain malicious, defamatory, or unlawful material

Ruling Engine reserves the right to remove, edit, or refuse any submitted content that violates these terms or is otherwise inappropriate.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Ruling Engine platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Ruling Engine makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the platform, its content, or the services provided. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ruling Engine disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of content and rulings
• Warranties that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties that defects will be corrected or that the platform is free from viruses or harmful components

Ruling Engine does not guarantee that any ruling, diagnostic framework, or precedent provided will resolve a specific dispute or produce a particular outcome. The platform is a diagnostic tool designed to support decision-making; final rulings and dispute resolutions remain the responsibility of tournament organizers and judges.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ruling Engine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, even if Ruling Engine has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall Ruling Engine's total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the platform exceed the amount you have paid to Ruling Engine in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty euros, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ruling Engine and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:

• Your use of the platform in violation of these terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Any content you submit or transmit through the platform
• Your infringement of any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The parties agree that any legal action or proceeding arising from or relating to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Hungary, and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

9. Modifications to Terms

Ruling Engine reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform. Your continued use of Ruling Engine following the posting of revised terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. We encourage you to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

10. Termination

Ruling Engine may terminate or suspend your access to the platform at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, including if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall remain in effect.

11. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if not possible, severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ruling Engine regarding your use of the platform and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, and agreements, whether written or oral.
